CLEVELAND, Ohio – FasSeal-ATS Anaerobic Thread Sealant, a strong, versatile sealing formula with PTFE, is now available from Gasoila Chemicals, a division of Federal Process Corporation.

FasSeal-ATS with PTFE provides a tough, vibration-proof seal in many industrial and contractor applications. A high-performance, quick-dry formula, the anaerobic thread sealant resists shrinkage during drying and protects against seizing and galling. It allows for fast, easy disassembly of parts when necessary.

Recommended for use on hydraulic and pneumatic air conditioning, fuel, steam and natural gas lines, FasSeal-ATS also is ideal for air compressor hoses, plated flare fittings, sprinkler installations, housings, plugs, pipe threads, and similar applications.

FasSeal-ATS thread sealant is safe on inactive metals and conventional materials. The compound is resistant to petroleum, butane, propane, natural gas, water, steam, refrigerants, chlorine, caustic sodas, acids, oils, gasoline and more. The formula seals to 10,000 PSI at application and then to the bursting strength of the pipe after curing. The product is offered in 50- and 250-milliliter tubes.

The thread sealant, classified by UL^®, is effective within a temperature range of -65ºF to 375ºF (-54ºC to 191ºC).
